Διατειθεται στο PSN το demo του GoW III που παρουσιαστηκε στην Ε3! Hurrah!

(To μεγεθος ειναι περιπου 2.5 GB, οποιος εχει αργη συνδεση να ετοιμαστει για pwnage.)

Even playing through the main missions will take a minimum of 15 hours, while the addition of around 100 side quests easily doubles that tally. Factor in the innumerable additional challenges, and the free DLC bundled with the game, and it will be hard to feel short-changed.

God of War 3 Review CVG
The demo doesn't even come CLOSE to doing the game justice in the visual department, and we don't know what Sony was thinking with some of the god-awful pre-launch screenshots. You've just got to see it in video (right below, chaps).
All parts of the gameplay are pretty much identical - you have your standard blades to start with, and gain new weapons as you go.
Despite the familiarity though, the controls can be clunky in places. Pressing L1 just as an enemy hits you parries the attack, following up with a tap of Square to counter. It's a move that requires acute timing. But the same combination of buttons, L1 and Square, also activates a spinning cyclone attack - a long-winded animation that can't be interrupted.

With God of War III, fans of the series will find a game that's been refined and expanded. The basic approach, including the combat system, level flow and pacing of bosses and puzzles remains largely untouched. But everything's bigger, grander and more elaborate.
God of War's combat may never have had as much depth as some of its competitors, but it makes up for it with freakish beauty and a devastating talent for creating just the right hit response.
God of War III is much the same: a technical marvel, but with all the clever stuff turned towards the aim of very basic gratification. There are no branching paths, no complex decisions, and no multiplayer modes, but this particular game is all the better for it, since the results are rich and focused rather than drawn-out and a little ragged. Ultimately, if you want to revel in old-school pleasures decked out in the very brightest new armour, this is about as good as it gets.

O τιτλος μεχρι στιγμης εχει αποσπασει απιστευτες κριτικες, πραγμα κομματακι αναμενομενο. Can't wait to rip some heads off!

Πολυ ενδιαφερουσα ειδηση... δεν ξερω αν η Resistance ip ανοικει στη $ony ή στην ιδια την Insomniac ομως οπως και να εχει προκειται για ενα ικανο studio και καλο ειναι τους τιτλους του να παιζει οσο περισσοτερος λαος γινεται. Μενει να δουμε βεβαια αν προκειται για απλα φημες ή για κατι τελεσυγγραφο.

Copy Paste ότι είπε.. Πραγματικά πρόκειται για μια εξαιρετική IP. Ειδικά το δεύτερο μέρος ήταν πάρα πολύ καλό.

New PlayStation 3 Update Removes Linux Support

System update v3.21 will disable the console's "Install Other OS" feature, which allowed users to install the Linux operating system. The feature is currently only available in PlayStation 3 models released prior to the "slim" redesign that launched in September 2009. The update will go live on April 1.

Those who use Linux can choose not to upgrade, however, Sony lists several features that will no longer be available:

* Ability to sign in to PlayStation Network and use network features that require signing in to PlayStation Network, such as online features of PS3 games and chat

* Playback of PS3 software titles or Blu-ray Disc videos that require PS3 system software version 3.21 or later

* Playback of copyright-protected videos that are stored on a media server (when DTCP-IP is enabled under Settings)

* Use of new features and improvements that are available on PS3 system software 3.21 or later

"For those PS3 users who are currently using the 'Other OS' feature but choose to install the system software update, to avoid data loss they first need to back-up any data stored within the hard drive partition used by the "Other OS," as they will not be able to access that data following the update," Seybold added.
